Wind is formed as a result of uneven heating of the earth’s surface. Electrical energy is obtained from the wind turbines. Wind turbines are machines that convert the energy of moving air into mechanical energy. As wind energy is convenient for our country to be used because it is renewable, it is one of our advantageous energy sources.
Hamzabeyli Wind Power Plant
Located in the district of Lalapaşa of Edirne Province, in 2 × 3 MW power, the plant was put into use in March 2017 and is planned to reach up to 20 MW. It has 2 wind turbines in 3 MWM / 1.5 MW power.
